3 Sending an … To send messages from the Out Box out over the Internet you must click on the Send/Receive button. Doing so, places a copy of your outgoing mail into your Sent Items folder, and sends another copy out over the Internet to the mail box of your intended receiver where it will remain until he/she checks for mail.
