4 PERSUASIVE Most Fourth Grade students participate in the Tropicana Speech Contest. Think about writing a 3 minute speech to persuade the listeners and convince them about a topic you have strong opinions. Now, write a speech to persuade the audience.

27 LETTER WRITING: ABOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA Research facts about Florida to share with a student in California. Race Around the States Project. Compose a letter to send to student to explain about the State of Florida (cities, resources, economy, attractions, weather, land, waters, schools, etc) Compile all class letters to send to student in California.

28 PERSUASIVE Most students enjoy learning Science from high school Science students. Think about persuading the teacher to contact Arnold High School students to come to BPA to teach us with Science experiments. Now, write and persuade the teacher to invite the Arnold Science students to teach the class.

29 Narrative If you could spend a whole day with a famous person, who would it be? Write a story about the day you spent with a famous person. Use details and examples in your story.

30 Narrative Think about a time when you had a great adventure. It could have happened while on a school field trip, going to a relatives home, going on vacation, going to the movies, going to the library, or something totally different. Write a story about this great adventure. Where did you go? What did you do? Who was with you? Give enough details to show the reader what happened and why the adventure was so great.
