5. How can parents/carers help? Reading to your child or listening to your child read every night. Supporting your child with their homework. PE kit needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Swimming kit on Tuesdays (terms 1, 3 & 6).

6. How can parents/carers help? Allowing us to borrow your treasured possessions for our themes! For example: souvenirs from France, eg. dolls in national costumes, maps of Paris, travel brochures, food.

7. How are children assessed in year 2? Every child is given an attainment level at the end of year 2. These levels shows what the child can do in speaking & listening, reading, writing, mathematics and science. We also value each childs achievement. That is, how much progress your child has made.
