20 Control Panel Keys No.NameFunctions 10Fax and telephone keys Tel/R (Hook)This key is used to have a telephone conversation after picking up the external handset during the F/T pseudo-ring. When connected to a PBX, you can use this key to gain access to an outside line, to recall an operator, or to transfer a call to another extension. ResolutionSets the resolution when sending a fax. Search/ Speed Dial Lets you look up numbers stored in memory. It also lets you access speed dial numbers directly if you hold down the [Shift] and press this key, and then enter a 3-digit number. Redial/PauseRedials the last number called. It also inserts a pause when programming quick dial numbers or when dialing a number manually. 11Print keysSecure/Direct Secure : You can print data saved in the memory when you enter your 4-digit password. When using Secure Function Lock, you can switch restricted users by holding down [Shift] as you press this key. Direct : Lets you print data from a USB Flash memory drive that you can connect directly to the machine. This key will be active when a USB Flash memory drive is connected to the machines USB direct interface. Job CancelCancels a programmed print job and clears it from the machines memory. To cancel multiple print jobs, hold down this key until the LCD shows Job Cancel (All).

Secure Print Set the Secure Print, Password and Job Name in the printing preferences dialog box of the printer driver. – Host-Based Driver Advanced tab [Settings] of the Secure Print – BR-Script3 Printer Driver [Advanced] Printer Features Send the data to machine. Secure Print Press the [Secure/Direct] of your machine. – If the LCD displays No Data Stored, there is no secured data in the memory. Press [ ] or [ ] to choose the user name. Press the [OK]. The LCD displays the secured jobs list for that name. Press [ ] or [ ] to choose the job. Press the [OK]. Enter your four-digit password and press the [OK]. To print the data, press [ ] or [ ] to choose Print, press the [OK] and then enter the number of copies you want. Press the [OK]. The machine prints the data. – To delete the secured data, press [ ] or [ ] to choose Delete. Press the [OK]. Printing the Secured Document After the documents are printed, the data will be cleared from the memory.

Fax Destinations You can dial in any of the following ways. Description Manual Dialing Use the dial pad to enter all the digits of the telephone or fax number. One-Touch Dialing Press the One-Touch key that stores the number you want to call. To dial One-Touch numbers 21 to 40, hold down the [Shift] as you press the One-Touch key. * If the LCD shows Register Now? when you enter a One-Touch number, it means that a number is not stored there. Speed-Dialing Press the [Search/Speed Dial] and the [Shift] simultaneously and then the three digit Speed-Dial number. * If the LCD shows Register Now? when you enter a Speed-Dial number, it means that a number is not stored there. Search You can search alphabetically for names you have stored in the One-Touch and Speed-Dial memories. Press the [Search/Speed Dial], and then press the dial pad keys for the first few letters of the name. LDAP search If the machine is connected to your LDAP server, you can search for information such as fax numbers and addresses from your server. Fax redial If you are sending a fax manually and the line is busy, press the [Redial/Pause], wait for the other fax machine to answer, and the press the [Start] to try again.
Sending Functions Broadcasting – Broadcasting lets you send the same fax message to more than one fax number – Including Groups, One-Touch, Speed-Dial numbers and up to 50 manually dialed numbers in the same broad cast You can broadcast up to 390 different numbers
Sending Functions Delayed Fax – You can store up to 50 faxes in the memory to be sent within a twenty four hour period – Before sending the delayed faxes, the bizhub 20 will help you economize by sorting all the faxes in the memory by destination and scheduled time – All delayed faxes that are scheduled to be sent at the same time to the same fax number will be sent as one fax to save transmission time
Sending Functions Redial – The bizhub 20 will automatically redial up to three times at five minute intervals if the receiving line is busy or due to a communication error
Sending Functions Fax Forwarding – The Fax Forwarding feature lets you automatically forward your received faxes to another machine. If you choose Backup Print On, the machine will also print the fax – You can also enter an address if the bizhub 20 has been configured for Internet Fax
Sending Functions PC Fax – The PC-FAX feature lets you to use your computer to send a document from an application as a standard fax – The PC-FAX software can only send Black & White fax documents PC-FAX Facsimile Style User Interface

The Status Monitor icon will change color depending on the machine status A green icon indicates the normal stand-by condition A yellow icon indicates a warning A red icon indicates a printing error has occurred Status Monitor The Status Monitor utility provides immediate notification of error messages such as paper empty or paper jam

BRAdmin Light The BRAdmin Light utility is designed for initial setup of the KONICA MINOLTA network connected devices It also can search for KONICA MINOLTA products in a TCP/IP environment, view the status and configure basic network settings, such as IP address The BRAdmin Light utility is available for Windows® 2000/XP, Windows Vista®, Windows® 7, Windows Server® 2003/2008 and Mac OS X or greater
PageScope If you require more advanced printer management, use the PageScope Net Care Device Manager utility that is available as a download from This utility is only available for Windows® users. PageScope Net Care Device Manager is utility software that provides central control over printers, copiers, and other devices on a network.
