Week Without Walls American Community School – Beirut 2014
Why? Week Without Walls is an extension of the ACS Mission Statement: ACS empowers students to solve problems with creativity and integrity, to lead well- balanced lives, and to serve Lebanon and the world community with understanding and compassion.

Nepal… Nepal is located between India in the south, east and west and China in the north. The elevation is varied with the highest point being Mt. Everest (8848 m) in the north. It has an assortment of races and tribes, having varied culture and tradition. Farming is the main economic activity followed by manufacturing, trade and tourism. In Nepal, Hinduism and Buddhism are the two main religions. Cultural Immersion, Community Service, and Team Building in Nepal

Andre Bechara and Wissam Assouad of the ACS Outdoor Educational Program will lead students in a variety of activities and adventures on land and sea around Beirut and the Lebanese Mountains. Nature conservation, cultural awareness, and community service will be the guides on these day- trips and overnight adventures. Lebanon Travel information: Multiple safe and secure day-trips and overnight trips will be planned by the ACS-Outdoor Education Department to showcase the natural beauty of Lebanon, explain how conservation and education are needed, and have students explore new and exciting adventures.
