Appointed Day – What happens 3 Dioceses are dissolved; new Diocese of Leeds/WY&D The 5 new Archdeaconry Areas come into effect. Parishes transfer deaneries, archdeaconries or dioceses ABY nominates: – Acting Diocesan Bishop – Who will act as Area Bishops for the new Areas (+Knaresborough/Ripon; +Pontefract/Wakefield) – Acting Chancellor and Registrar – Acting Diocesan Secretary and Director of Education Transitional Boards/Committees – Finance, Education, MandP, DAC, Patronage 3 Offices remain as they are – minimum change – to ensure routine support to Parishes
