About us About European Funding Network The European Funding Network was set up to inform voluntary organisations about the European Social Fund (ESF) and other EU funds. The European Funding Network is an England-wide network of civil society – voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations – active in the European Social Fund (ESF) and other EU funds. We provide advice, support and information exchange to make sure the ESF and other EU funds are working effectively to support smart sustainable and inclusive growth in England.
Members Local, regional and national members Members operate under cross cutting themes such as gender equality, sustainability and diversity. Also specialists in environment, youth, health, rural issues, entrepreneurship.
Civil Society Active - Preparation for local organisations to undertake activity under EU Funds, through workshops and advice Support for effective management of EU funds Monitoring and feed-back on the use of funds in a timely and constructive manner through Monitoring Committees and regular Advisory Group meetings Information provision on key developments to local partners through an active website and regular local events Support and advice on administrative capacity for implementation of the funds
Civil society Active - Mapping of LEPs and voluntary sector engagement Sharing with EFN and posted on our website, development of business case Discussions with key stakeholders LEP letter from NCVO to LEP chairs highlighting the expertise within the network Development of civil society networks and contribution to SIF strategies
