Weekly Process
Monday: Announce the two News Leaders and watch CNN Student news as a class.
Tuesday- Thursday: News Leaders each will find an article to bring to the class. The article should be important, interesting, and spark a good discussion. News Leaders will each prepare their write up (this sheet) for Friday’s class.
Friday: News Leaders will provide and in depth summary and lead a class discussion- 5 minutes per article for a total of 10 minutes.

2. Say What???
Summary: Write a brief summary of your article. Use proper sentence structure, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Discussion Questions: Write two discussion questions for Friday. Make sure they are questions that your classmates can answer and will have an opinion. 1) 2)
