1 Perfusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging in patients with carotid artery disease before and after carotid endarterectomy  Arnd Doerfler, MDa, Hans H. Eckstein, MDb, Michael Eichbaum, MDb, Sabine Heiland, PhDc, Thomas Benner, PhDc, Jens R. Allenberg, MDb, Michael Forsting, MDa  Journal of Vascular Surgery  Volume 34, Issue 4, Pages (October 2001) DOI: /mva Copyright © 2001 Society for Vascular Surgery and The American Association for Vascular Surgery Terms and Conditions

2 Fig. 1 CBV in the different ROIs according to the degree of ICA stenosis. A, <80% stenosis (n = 10). B, ≥80% stenosis (n = 16). Journal of Vascular Surgery  , DOI: ( /mva ) Copyright © 2001 Society for Vascular Surgery and The American Association for Vascular Surgery Terms and Conditions

4 Fig. 3 Sixty-eight-year-old woman with >90% stenosis of the right ICA. The CBV map (left ) reveals slightly increased regional blood volume. However, for this patient, the whole extent of the tissue influenced by the stenosis can be seen on the parameter map of NFM, which reveals an extensive increase compared with the contralateral normal hemisphere (right , yellow and red region).
