Achievement Gap Committee Genesis Exploring the status of and solutions for the achievement gap identified as a major goal of Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion and the Provost. The largest graduation gap exists between white students and black students. Black students are the largest non-white racial group at the university. We decided to begin with this specific group.

Getting Started Collect & assess existing institutional data. Form subgroups on the committee to explore each area in depth. Institutional Research Office (the awesome Haley) summer intern develops a project to investigate the contribution of many factors on retention and graduation rates.
