2 When are the GCSE exams? Thursday 26th May 2016 (Non-Calculator Paper)
Thursday 9th June 2016 (Calculator Paper) Attendance at lessons between the two examinations and revision during Half Term will be essential.

3 Higher Tier Grades 50% of the paper at Higher tier is Grades D and C.
20% of the paper at Higher Tier at Grade B. 15% of the paper at Higher Tier at Grade A. 15% of the paper at Higher Tier at Grade A*.

4 Foundation Tier Grades
50% of the paper at Higher tier is Grades G and F. 20% of the paper at Higher Tier at Grade E. 15% of the paper at Higher Tier at Grade D. 15% of the paper at Higher Tier at Grade C.

What can be done at home? Angles Quadrilateral = 360º Congruent – same as Timetables Area of Rectangle = l x w Z angles - alternate Area = Πr² Area of Triangle = ½(base x height) F angles - corresponding Circumference = Πd Speed = Distance ÷ Time Angles in a triangle = 180º 1 mile = 1.6km

11 Revision Tips Revise what you don’t know – not what you do know.
Revise Maths by doing – not reading. Practice questions using a time limit – without looking at the answers! Don’t concentrate just on C grade topics or A* grade topics – you cannot get a C or an A* by just knowing the difficult topics.
