1. Bell Ringer Procedure

2. Format Use your own loose leaf paper
At the top of the paper, in the upper right hand corner, write:
First and Last Name
Today’s Date
Class period
Across the top of the paper write Week ? Warm Up. Replace the ? with the appropriate number of weekly warm up (1, 2, 3, etc.)
On the front, draw 2 lines to make 4 squares on your paper
These are the sections for Monday- Thursday. Label each day
Friday- Use the back for short answer response

Wednesday
Thursday

3. Bell Ringers must be started upon class entry and completed within 2-3 minutes of the tardy bell.
Bell Ringers are done daily.
Bell Ringers will be graded weekly and count as 1 class work grade.

4. Monday- Thursday Grading
Copy question neatly in pencil
Write all four answer choices
Answer the question by circling the correct answer
Correct the answer in RED PEN
All parts must be included to receive credit!!

5. Friday Bell Ringer Grading
Friday Bell Ringer Grading Scale
Write question (2 points)
Restate question in answer (2 points)
5-7 sentences (2 points)
No more than 3 spelling/ grammar mistakes (2 points)
Provide and example/explanation of answer or opinion of the content. (2 points)
