2 Reading Scripture Blessed by reading
We try to read lots of scripture in our worship. Revelation 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

3 Jesus’ view of his ministry
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, 1 what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:20 Spirit as a dove – Matthew 3:16 I saw the Spirit – John 1:32 Luke 2:52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

4 He came to Bind up the broken hearted. Oh, Yes he cares!
The teaching of Jesus has healed: 1. More sickness 2. More families 3. More hearts Than any medicines in the world

5 Power Off? Light is available What if you didn’t know it was back on?
Jesus is available for binding broken hearts

6 Preach the Good News To the poor God’s love and grace is good news!
Heard any good news lately? Depressed with life’s problems? Rich or poor, we need good news.

7 Freedom How does it feel to be locked up? What is your greatest fear?
When the freedom fighters come Jesus wants us free

8 We are Free! It’s more than shooting firecrackers
It’s more than speeches It’s more than flying flags It is sacred We are a model It comes because of the King of Kings

9 Freedom To worship Speak our minds Work and make a living Travel
To be what God intends for us Free from the shackles of sin Freedom to go home

10 Beauty for Ashes to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, 3 the oil of gladness instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. 7 Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.

11 Today Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Rejoice – we are free Rejoice – Jesus has set you free!
