From Where Do our Ideas about Leadership come?

Admired Leader What was the context in which the leader operated? What was the leaders general character?
Admired Leader Which parts of his or her character would generally be seen as strengths, and which weaknesses? In what ways did he or she display leadership?

Know Thyself 1 of 3 Weaknesses are not a bad thing provided the leader knows them. Strengths The leader has certain strengths. He/she should not take them for granted.
Know Thyself 2 of 3 Image A leader projects an image. He/she should know what it is, and how to change it.
Know Thyself 3 of 3 Types There are many types of successful leaders. Would-be leaders should learn from others, but not clone them.
Leadership concerns vision and inspiration. Good leaders in any setting have the ability to expand the notion of the group as to what it is possible for them to achieve.
