7. HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAMES
Junior high students will only be admitted if they are with their parent or an older sibling who attends OHS. OHS loves having the junior high kids attend games, but need parents to supervise them. Once students have exited the stadium, there is no re- admittance allowed.

Reasons to join Student Council:
We want to know who YOU are. If you want your ideas to be heard, we’re ready to listen.
Help plan and advertise events, run things like recycling and concessions, and be the voice of Thompson students.
Mrs. Schlechte and Miss Liewald are pretty cool, but they’re not as cool as you.
Commitment is minimal and we only meet once every two weeks. Come check it out on Tuesday, September 27 at 7:30 in Miss Liewald’s room (1191).

15. TIGER SAFETY
Please remember to respect each other's personal space, and responsibly keep hands, feet, and other to yourselves. This means games such as necking and 5 star are prohibited. We understand friends play these games with one another, but also know these playful actions can escalate and lead to unwanted outcomes, not only for the particIpants, but for others in the vicinity. These infractions will be taken seriously, and responded to sternly. Please continue being a Tiger that ROARS!

18. Resiliency-Traits of the Resilient Person
Acceptance-Life is going to throw us curve balls, it’s a guarantee. You have to accept that so you can prepare yourself to deal with them. Optimism-Thinking positively can change any situation, that means thinking positively about yourself, too! Humor-You have to be able to laugh at yourself or a situation you are in. We ALL goof up, don’t beat yourself up over it, move on! Enlist your Team- Use your friends & family to help you through tough times, talk to them, seek their advice and support. Use your Moral Compass- You know right from wrong, stick with your beliefs and don’t get drawn in to something that you don’t want to be involved with! Self-Awareness-Be aware of what you need (talking to a friend, a time-out, etc.) and take care of yourself. You are the captain of your ship!
