Liebeserklärungen an die deutsche Sprache: Internationaler Wettbewerb Mein schönstes deutsches Wort lautet:Hauch, weil es nichts weiter als eine sanfte, kleine Andeutung einer positiven Vorstellung ist. Dem Wort wohnt eine Utopie inne, eine Vorstellung von etwas, das noch nicht vorhanden ist, ein Vorschein auf eine bessere Zeit. Über allen Gipfeln ist Ruh….. …bald ruhest du auch.

Level 3 award in National Framework of qualifications, as at present Existing range of subjects (25) are retained Mathematics, English and Irish remain core as full subjects Provision for school-developed short courses Subjects will be 200 hours, short courses will be 100 hours. Irish English and Maths will be 240 hours Subjects will have key skills embedded – Managing Myself, Staying Well, Communicating, Being Creative, Working with Others, Managing Information and Thinking. Report Definition of Literacy: the ability to read, understand and critically appreciate various forms of communication, including spoken language, printed text, broadcast media, and digital media (p 8). Objectives: Raise public awareness of the importance of oral and written language Teach literacy skills across all subject areas Whole-school approach to literacy The promotion of language awareness National Strategy to improve Literacy and Numeracy
