Focuses on improving reading skills in a variety of genres and situations.

9. Language Arts skills are taught during writers workshop and Guided Reading.
Students are focusing on being able to apply language arts skills (Capitalization, punctuation, spelling) ect in their daily writing.

10. Writing is taught in a writers workshop which includes mini lessons over writing skills and a daily opportunity to practice writing with the opportunity to share their writing
with others.
