January – March 2017 All groups run term time only apart from Health Visiting and Midwifery services. Look out for our holiday timetable. Part of the Medway Chatham cluster of Children’s Centres alongside

3 Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays
Medway-wide Specialist Breastfeeding Drop-in 9-12noon (6 weeks – 9 months) We welcome new and expectant mums who are interested in or currently breastfeeding. You can seek advice, support and meet other breastfeeding mums. Healthy Child Clinic 1-2.30pm (0 - 4 years) Self weigh and an opportunity to meet members of the Health Visiting Team and discuss any health or development issues. Running every 4th Monday of each month. Tuesdays Introduction to Solid Food and Oral Health 11am-1pm (4+ months) Join your Health Visiting Team for a one off session to have your questions answered on Introducing Solid Foods and find out more information about looking after your babies teeth. Please call reception to book your place. Wednesdays Fun to Ones and Self Weigh am (0 - 1 year) For all parents/carers with a baby under one-year old. Join to explore the wonders of play and singing. Little Food Explorers am (8+ months) Running every 2nd Wednesday of each month. (Starting February 2017) Continue your baby’s introduction to food and come along to our fun, social session on what happens next! Gain confidence in planning and cooking meals whilst enjoying healthy me-size mealtimes together as a family. Let’s Get Moving pm (1 - 2 years) Physical Play Session for children aged 1-2 years and their parents/carers. This group gets children ‘moving’ and ‘physically active’ to promote early physical development and confidence.

4 Thursdays Fridays Volunteering Local Childcare Stay & Play
pm (1 – 3 years: Younger siblings welcome) Come along and join us to have a fun filled time exploring the wonders of play and learning with your child. Play provides many opportunities for children to learn and develop life-long skills within a warm, friendly and stimulating environment. Fridays Baby Massage am (6 weeks – 9 months) Baby Massage offers you a chance for regular physical contact with your baby to stimulate the hormone responsible for bonding and love.  Please call reception to book a place. Little Chefs pm (2 – 4 Years) A fun filled cooking group for children aged 2 upwards and their grown-ups. Gain confidence in your cooking skills and involving your children in preparing food. Together, find out where our food comes from, how it grows, why we need to eat a variety of different foods and how much we need to be happy and healthy. Please call the Public Health Team on to book a place. Volunteering Do you have some spare time or want evidence to support Job Applications? Would you be interested in helping out at your local Children’s Centre? We always welcome parents wanting to join our Parents’ Forum.
