We will be reading our next story in the Reading Street series this week entitled Two Bad Ants. We will bring our books home on Wednesday. Please reread the story that night and we will take our comprehension test on Thursday. We are learning about using commas correctly and will have our grammar quiz on Thursday. We will have our math fact test on Friday.
We are completing a unit over two-dimensional shapes. Our assessment will be on Wednesday. In reading we are focusing on comparing stanzas, chapters, and scenes. We will have our comprehension test on Thursday. We are continuing writing workshop and we are focusing on writing poems. April is national poetry month, so we will be learning about elements of poetry and writing many different types of poems. We are beginning a unit in Social Studies over Granville History. In grammar we are learning about using commas correctly. Our quiz is on Thursday.
