Focus: Deepen understanding of tools and resources to help us learn and develop as teachers to meet the needs of our students.

How do you learn something new? What resources do you use? Using your preferred device, jot down your responses and be prepared to share with your colleagues.

1. Mingle and share your ideas with your colleagues. 2. As you talk to multiple people, the objective is to give one new idea and get one new idea. 3. When time is called return to your table and share your ideas with the group

19 Numbered Heads Table Debrief- 10 minutes
1. Number off 1-8 at your table. I will select the spokesperson by random number to share highlights from your conversation. 2. As a group, discuss the learning activities that you just experienced. Focus on the following questions: What did you learn? How did you learn? How might you use what you learned in your classroom? 3. Ensure everyone is participating so that whoever is called upon to represent your group is adequately prepared. 4. Revisit Google Doc- Did your thoughts change, develop, or deepen?

27 Creating Content Select a technology tool that you are interested in exploring with a group of 3-4 people. Tech experts are available if you need help. In your groups you will have 45 minutes to: Discuss what you have learned today about educating students in the 21st Century. Create a product to share with the group that highlights what you have learned today about educating students in the 21st Century. Be creative and have fun!
