Anger Control Skillstreaming Skills Moral Reasoning

3 Family ART Anger Control
The purpose of this component is to help you work on how to become angry less often and to provide you with the means to learn self-control when you do become angry. You will learn the skills necessary to choose between aggressive behavior and positive behavior. The goal is to become more able to stop your “automatic” aggressive responses long enough to consider more constructive choices.

4 Family ART Skillstreaming Skills
The purpose of this component is for you to learn alternative behaviors to the aggressive behaviors that come so easily to you. Using these social skills will help you to deal effectively with situations in which you become angry. The social skills will replace the aggressive behaviors, improving the outcome of the situation.

5 Family ART Moral Reasoning
The purpose of this component is to help you learn to look at situations from a mature and moral viewpoint. The goal is that you will be more likely to choose positive decisions than negative ones in social situations. This includes situations in which you might become angry.
