1 A hit for Microsoft or another foul?
Microsoft Windows 7 A hit for Microsoft or another foul?

2 Windows 7 is a big deal for Microsoft.
The pressure on Windows 7 is twofold: not only does the new Microsoft operating system need to wash away the bad taste left by Vista but it also launches at the tail end of a global recession.

3 Here is how it looks like.

4 Features of Windows 7 Windows 7 Aero Peek
When you do mouse over this little panel, all of the open windows are hidden and replaced by window outlines as shown here:

5 In addition to previewing the desktop, you can also preview any of the open windows on your desktop while temporarily hiding all other open windows.

6 Device Stage Feature Allows the user to manage several devices (printer, camera, phone, etc) from one place.

7 Security Security has been tidied up considerably, to the point that it's actually usable in its default state. It's a vast improvement over the Vista version.

8 Enterprise Features BitLocker-to-Go permits encryption of removable devices such as USB keys. AppLocker lets admins use Group Policies to control what applications are allowed to run on a system Problem Steps Recorder: this new tool essentially records each and every step a user takes and document the entire operation in both screen captures and step-by-step details.

9 Flaws The setting to hide file extensions for known file types. Bad guys have used that “feature” in the past to introduce malware onto systems and likely will do so again

10 Customers are not left completely without advice on enterprise use of Windows 7, with or without Server 2008 R2. Several free toolkits are available for download that offer assistance in determining application compatibility.

11 Thank You
