1 “An Eye View On the Future Generation Of Phones”
5G WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY “An Eye View On the Future Generation Of Phones”

2 CONTENTS Evolution of 1G to 5G . Defintion of Genration. What is 5G .
What 5G Technology Offers ? . The Concept . Layers on 5G Network . Features . Conclusion . Reference .

3 EVOLUTION FROM G TO 5G .

4 1G Wireless System EVOLUTION FROM 1G TO 5G
Developed in 1980’s Completed in Early 1990’s. Speed up to 2.4 kbps. AMPS first launched by US & a 1G mobile System. Allows Users to Make Voice Calls in 1 Country

5 2G Wireless System EVOLUTION FROM 1G TO 5G
Fielded in the late 1980s & finished in late 1990s. Speed up to 64 kbps. Digital Handsets that are used today. Voice transmission with Digital Signal.

6 2.5G Wireless System EVOLUTION FROM 1G TO 5G
Generation between 2G and 3G. 2.5G represents Hand sets with data Capabilities over GPRS. Failure in bringing any new evolution.

7 3G Wireless System EVOLUTION FROM 1G TO 5G Speed from 125kbps-2Mbps.
Performance in comp. networking(WCDMA ,WLAN ,Bluetooth )& mobile devices area(cell phone & GPS) Data sent through packet switching technology. Access to global & clarity in voice calls. Fast Communication, internet , mobile TV, Video Conferncing ,Video Calls(MMS),3D Gaming etc

8 4G Wireless System EVOLUTION FROM 1G TO 5G
Conceptual framework & discussion Point to Address Future needs of a high wireless network. Both Cellular & Broadband multimedia services everywhere arrival Smooth global roaming ubiquitously with lower cost.

9 5G Wireless System EVOLUTION FROM 1G TO 5G
Complete wireless communication with almost no limitation. Multi-Media Newspapers , watch T.V programs with the clarity as to that of an HD TV. Faster data transmission that of the previous generations. Real world wireless or Called “wwww: world wide wireless web.

10 Defination of Genrations.
Generation refers change in nature of Service compatible transmission technology and new frequency bands. 1G systems used analog frequency modulation. and 2G systems use digital communication techniques with TDM, FDM, CDMA. 3G systems offer higher data rates and voice and paging services to provide interactive multimedia including teleconferencing and internet access. 4G aims to provide IP telephony, ultra-broadband Internet access gaming services.

11 What is 5G Technology ? 5G refers to the fifth generation of cellular wireless standards 5G is a packet switched wireless system with wide area coverage and high throughput. 5G wireless uses OFDM and millimeter wireless that enables data rate of 20 mbps and frequency band of 2-8 GHz. 5G is going to be a packed based network. Real world wireless or Called “wwww: world wide wireless web.

12 What 5G Technology Offers ?
World Wide Cellular Phones. Extra Ordinary Data Capabilities. High Connectivity. Bright Future.

13 Objectives of 5G. 5G being developed to accommodate QoS rate requirements set by further development of existing 4G applications. Flexible channel bandwidth between 5 and 20MHz, optionally up to 40MHz. Data rate of at list 1Gb/s between any two points in the world. Increase system spectral efficiency of up to 3bit/s/Hz/cell in the downlink and 2.25bit/s/Hz/cell for indoor usage.

14 Standard Wireless 5G. Wimax formed to provide conformance and interoperability of the IEEE standard. It aims to provide wireless data over long distance from point-to-point link to cellular mobile type access. Wibro a part of ieee e in process to provide collaborative and generic mobile wimax. 3gpp lte a project aims to improve the mobile phone standard to cope with future requirements. 5gpp 2 umb a project to improve the cdma2000 mobile phone standard for next generation applications.

15 Functional Architecture For 5G Mobile Networks

16 IPv6 SUPPORT IPv6 increases the IP addresses size from 32bit to 128 bits, to support more levels of addressing hierarchy and much greater number of addressable node. IPv6 support large number of wireless enabled devices. IPv6 Extend the IP address space enough to offer a unique IP address to any device. IPv6 Improve support for IP Mobility.

17 Network Layer :

18 Open Transport Protocol Layer
Terminals will be suitable to have transport that is possible to be downloaded and installed Possibility to downloaded(e.g. TCP , RTP etc. or new transport protocol) version which is targeted to a specific wireless technology installed at the base station. This is called here Open Transport Protocol.

19 Estimation of Global Wireless Subscriber Growth

20 Features. High resolution , bi-directional large bandwidth shaping.
Advanced building interfaces : attractive fast effective. Subscriber supervision tools for fast action. High quality services based on policy to avoid error. Large broadcasting of data (GB) supports almost 65,000 connection. Transport class gateway with unparalleled consistency. More accuracy by traffic statistics.

21 Features(…) Remote management :better and Fast solution.
Remote diagnostics. 25Mbps connectivity speed. Virtual private network. All delivery service out of business prospect. High uploading and downloading speed. Enhanced and available connectivity just about the world.

22 Conclusion. We have proposed 5g mobile phone concept, designed as an open platform on layers , from physical layer up to the application. 5G - a promising Generation of wireless communication that will change people’s lives. The new coming 5g technology is available in the market in affordable rates, high peak future and much reliability than its preceding technology
