14/04/2018 Changing the Font Firstly select the text Move the mouse and click the mouse whilst dragging over the text you want to select Alternatively move the cursor to the point where you want to start selecting from (using the arrows; page up/down; home/end keys) hold the shift key down and move to the end of the area you wish to select If you just want to select one word – just double click it! The selected text will appear black with a surround as above.

14/04/2018 Forcing a new Line, new Column or Page The “Break” menu item from the Page Layout menu displays a dialog to enable this Shortcuts Shift+Return - New Line Ctrl+Return – Page Break Ctrl+Shift+Return – Column Break Formatting marks can be viewed from the Home menu. (i.e. Page Breaks) The ¶ icon on the Paragraph dialog box toggles this display state
