2. The Project
CRY (Child Rights and You) estimated that around 180 children go missing on an average every day, including 22 from the national capital. Indian schools are all set to implement a high-tech solution that will enable the school and parents to monitor and track students entry and exit from school, called RFID and SMS based student attendance system. This monitoring system has already been adopted by many renowned schools in India.

3. Why this system?
Nearly One lakh children go missing in India every year.
In nearly all these cases, the student did not report to school, or left school on time but did not return home and we had no clue on this until it was very late…
If the parents or the school authorities could have known in time that the untoward delay/ absence of reporting is unnatural, we could have stopped the tragedy.
The Automated Attendance system sends an instant notification to the parents/ guardian that the student has reached school or is leaving school.

4. How this system works?
Nelso Technology Pvt. Ltd. have introduced this device for your Child Safety. It’s a Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) with cutting age technology. This is also GPRS enabled standalone and completely plug and play device for online student attendance. So it can be placed anywhere and compatible with any SIM card of any network. The device can trace network less than ten seconds and also has capability to change the network mode automatically in worst network area.
We provide Smart RFID Student Attendance Systems with SMS for student tracking that track the child's attendance using a simple smart card. RFID tag will be attached to the student’s ID card. When the student enters the school and punch in the identity card at entrance , it will detect the tag and will send notification to the parents through SMS and Android App. to inform them that their child has entered the school and at the same time system will store the information for the reporting purpose. While leaving the school premises, the student will punch the RFID card once again and notification will be sent to parents one more time.

7. Android App.
We have also developed Android application, “RFID Attendance Notification” which is available on Google Play Store for parents. Parents will receive notification ten times faster than SMS through this application. They can also view the entry and exit time of their child within this app.
Personal/official messages like Birthday wishes, important school notices, special achievements, reports, emergencies can be instantly communicated with the parent/ guardian through this.
