We are seasoning that brings out the flavours of God on earth.

Be the salt and the light of the world.
Touch the lives of those around you.

21. Closing Prayer
Dear God,
remind us each and every day that we are your beloved children. We are those who are called, equipped and empowered to be salt and light to the world and to love others as we have been loved.
In Jesus’ name, Amen
‘Father God’ is not a Catholic expression and so should be avoided. Attributes of God (loving God, compassionate God etc ) can be named and might be able to be linked to the theme.

23. THANKS BE TO GOD In the week ahead…
be the difference that someone needs.
See when people need help… and then help them.
Look for those who need your support… and then support them.
Notice when people need company… be with them.
Share your faith with those around you.
The call to action should come after the closing prayer for it is the message with which we are sent out into the world to act for God and therefore is the last thing we should hear in our liturgy.
