14 Time to reflect on God’s word for us today.
We are seasoning that brings out the flavours of God on earth. If we lose that, how will people know God?

15 let your faith shine before others so that it may spread and grow.
We should put our light on show as this gives light to everyone around us. let your faith shine before others so that it may spread and grow. So what does this mean for us?

16 How does that make people feel?
Are you someone who adds God to the world in which you live? How does that make people feel?

17 Can others feel your faith within you?
What can they see?

18 Can you reveal the light to others?
Do you know the truth but sometimes fail to act upon it? Can you reveal the light to others?

19 Or do you live out his word everyday, everywhere, with everyone?
Do you sometimes worship God? Or do you live out his word everyday, everywhere, with everyone?

20 Make a difference today!
Be the salt and the light of the world. Touch the lives of those around you. Make a difference today!

21 Closing Prayer Dear God, remind us each and every day that we are your beloved children. We are those who are called, equipped and empowered to be salt and light to the world and to love others as we have been loved. In Jesus’ name, Amen ‘Father God’ is not a Catholic expression and so should be avoided. Attributes of God (loving God, compassionate God etc ) can be named and might be able to be linked to the theme.

22 Witness of the week ideas
Someone who shows their faith to you by: Showing love Caring for you Giving you time Teaching you

23 THANKS BE TO GOD In the week ahead…
be the difference that someone needs. See when people need help… and then help them. Look for those who need your support… and then support them. Notice when people need company… be with them. Share your faith with those around you. The call to action should come after the closing prayer for it is the message with which we are sent out into the world to act for God and therefore is the last thing we should hear in our liturgy. THANKS BE TO GOD
