1 Superheroes of the word
Leading The Lost To Safety

2 Are You Truly alive? “It’s not dying that you need to be afraid of. It’s never having lived in the first place.” --The Green Hornet

3 Much Too Trusting People are too easily satisfied. They accept others at face value. They accept what others say at face value. When salvation is on the line, that is a dangerous tendency.

4 Combating Apathy? How can we save the lost from their own apathy?
By continuing to teach the ONE TRUE PLAN of salvation. By rejecting the “I’m okay, you’re okay, pseudo doctrine.”

5 The One plan for salvation
Will the wrong key unlock a lock? Will the key work if it is inserted upside down? Will it work if it is only partially inserted? Will it work if it is either too long or too short?

6 What Plan saves Us From Sin?
Acts 2:23 – “…this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death.”

7 What Plan? 1 Peter 1:18-20 –”…knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you

8 Again….What plan? Romans 16: Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith

9 A Clear Expression Of The plan
I must hear the gospel Romans 10:17 – “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”

10 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures

11 I Must Believe Romans 1:16 -- For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. How do we teach someone to believe?

12 Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. How do we help someone to have faith in the gospel?

13 I Must Repent Luke 13:3 – “I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” Acts 17:30 --Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent….” How do I teach someone to repent?

14 I must confess Matthew 10: “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. Romans 10:9 – “…that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved…”

15 Philippians 2:11 “….and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Our confession is belief and proclamation of Jesus as Lord, Christ and Savior.

16 I must Be Baptized Acts 2: Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” 1 Peter 3:21 – “…baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience— through the resurrection of Jesus Christ….”

17 Romans 6:3-4 “Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.”

18 Walking A New Life Revelation 2:10 -- Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

19 Ephesians 4:1-2 “Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love….”

20 The World Needs Convincing
They are lost They are dead They are needy They can be saved They can only be saved with God’s plan. There’s only one plan from God.
