English Language Paper 2 Section A Students will be asked to answer questions based on a 19th century non-fiction text. Difficult to find texts easily on the internet. English Language Revision Book is recommended as it contains suitable texts. Available at a reduced price of £5 through college.

6 English Literature Revision
Flashcards to learn quotations Students can write the character, a set of quotations and interpretations and key terms onto the card and ask a parent or sibling to test them. This is a great way to learn quotations from: Blood Brothers Romeo and Juliet Cluster from the anthology Context for all texts A Christmas Carol …. And it really builds confidence! Use posters on your way to learn key phrases and quotations Give out laminates – not laminated

7 Use MINDMAP Place the character at the centre
Use each strand to revise a new aspect Visual, auditory and kinaestethetic Put your finger on the line of the map, follow it and talk through everything you know adding detail to the info on the map
