8 Equipment All students are required to carry a pencil case which, as a minimum, must have: Three working pens (black or blue ink) One of these must be GREEN Two pencils One eraser One x 15cm (6”) ruler It is desirable that each student also carries: A highlighter pen Casio fx83gt calculator Oxford educational supplies do geometry packs with calculators for £7. It comes with pencil case. Colouring pencils Year 7 Passport

9 Uniform Uniform must be purchased from the Springwest Uniform shop Blazer with Springwest badge Tie with light blue tie White shirts* Skirts Black leather shoes* School bag Girls school trousers to be bought from our uniform shop A sensible dark winter coat* No acrylic or painted nails No trainers No hoodies No facial piercings * not available in school uniform shop The uniform shop is open from the 10 th August, except for w/c 15 th August

11 Mobile Phone Policy The consequences of using a mobile device whether it is seen, heard or is being used at school

13 Safe to learn “Bullying behaviour is the intentional hurting (physical or emotional) of one person by another where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. It is usually repetitive or persistent, although some one off attacks can have continuing harmful effect on the victim.” Anti-Bullying Alliance 1. To provide a safe and happy learning environment 2. To prevent and stop bullying behaviour 3. To respond to all forms of bullying in a reasonable proportionate and consistent way 4. To support the pupil who has experienced bullying 5. To ensure the bully is dealt with appropriately and future behaviour modified All forms of bullying will be taken seriously.
