4 Data Center Opportunity Zone (DCOZ) - Key Facts and Advantages Prince William DCOZ Adopted by Board of County Supervisors May 12, 2016 Designates over 10,000 Acres as DCOZ Overlay District By Right Data Center development of Office, Industrial, and Business zoned sites within the DCOZ Ability to amend map Consistency and clarity to guide future development Fast Track Rezoning and Substation Review for data centers in Zone Established over properties where supporting infrastructure is readily available or easily provided with minimal impact to residential properties. Current zoning and long-range planning designations for properties were taken into consideration with the DCOZ.

6 Virginia Data Center Sales & Use Tax Exemption – Extended 15 Years from 2020 to 2035 Make a new capital investment of at least $150 million Create 50 new jobs The jobs must pay at least one and one-half times the prevailing average wage for the locality in which it locates Colocation data center facilities may aggregate the capital investment and new job requirements among the data center owner and its tenants in order to meet the thresholds..
