3. Ir + a + INFINITIVE We use a form of the verb ir + a + infinitive to tell what someone is going to do. Only the form of ir changes. The second verb remains in the infinitive form. Remember that an infinitive is the original, unconjugated form of a verb. It will end in a “r”.
