3 The Christian & Purpose of Life “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance, character, and character, hope” (Rom. 5:3,4) ‏ “…lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (Matt. 6:20) ‏ “…the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God” (Gal. 2:20)‏

4 The Christian & Purpose of Life “…I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound.” (Phil. 4:11)‏ “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain…having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.”(Phil. 1:21-24)‏
