3 Six Characteristics of Virtues: 1.Virtues are a feature of character: they make us good and make us do our jobs well-they affect our character, not just our lives. Moral virtues, if possessed, we can predict how a person possessing the virtue will act and react in different situations. 6 Six Characteristics of Virtues: 4. Virtues are needed for living well: Without a virtue, our lives would be spoiled and unhappy. No one would choose a life without the virtues.

7 Six Characteristics of Virtues: 5. Virtues are relevant to all roles in life: central in all areas of life. Success at any project in life will require moderating our fears appropriately, being honest with ourselves, being fair, and objective.
