2 What is Joomla! Joomla! is the #1 Open Source Content Management System (CMS) for publishing on the World Wide Web Using a CMS allows non-technical people to be responsible for placing content on the web. No knowledge of HTML, CSS or special tools required Joomla! Is highly extensible
