3 2. Which part (Eastern or Western) of Europe would you say is more developed? Why? Developed means GNP is high, infant mortality rate is low, high percentage of urban population, and an increased age of life expectancy. Western Europe has more natural resources and economic activity, therefore, a higher Gross National Product. (they would be richer)

4 3. What is the definition of Primary Economic activity? It is the part of the economy that makes direct use of natural resources.
