8. Homework Your child will have homework Monday – Thursday. All parts of the homework must be completed daily. Parental guidance is greatly appreciated.

9. Grades/Assessments Your child will receive grades based on their classwork and test grades. Students will receive a weekly math, reading, and spelling assessment. Grammar assessments will be given as we complete units and/or topics. Graded papers will be sent home every Wednesday. Please sign and return all documents

10. Grading Weights Math Test = 60% Classwork = 40% Language Arts Reading = 50% Grammar = 20% Spelling = 20% Classwork = 10% All grades for Science, Social Studies, Health, and Conduct will be averaged equally.

11. Rules and Consequences Students are expected to follow school and classroom rules at all times. Parents, I will be using www.classdojo.com to give daily conduct grades. Students who receive 19 or more infractions will not be able to attend the PBIS celebration for good behavior at the end of the nine weeks.www.classdojo.com
