2 The University of New Hampshire’s Location The University of New Hampshire is located in Durham, with additional campuses in the cities of Manchester and Concord, New Hampshire. A classic college town in a seacoast setting Durham is an idyllic New England college location with a small-town friendliness and welcoming nature that pairs perfectly with the proximity to big-city opportunities. New Hampshire and Maine’s rocky beaches are just moments away. Head north and in an hour you’re in New England ski country; take the bus, train or a car one hour south, and you’re in the heart of bustling Boston. The University of New Hampshire’s Location

3 360-degree Experience What does it mean to live, work, play, explore and make friends at one of the nation’s most engaging universities? Wildcats enjoy a thriving, 360-degree experience, with eight colleges, a graduate school, a law school, more than 100 majors, 250 student organizations and 20 interscholastic athletic teams. Members of the UNH community embrace opportunities to volunteer in dozens of regional, national and international organizations, from Habitat for Humanity to local literacy efforts to political, environmental and social justice campaigns. 130,000 alumni share a lifelong bond and powerful career networks as Wildcats. More than 50,000 of them live in the Granite State.

4 Each year, UNH is awarded more than $112 million in research funding to support faculty, staff and students who are pursuing innovative, ambitious ideas that are helping to solve the world’s toughest challenges. Last month, as NASA’s four-spacecraft Magnetospheric Multiscale mission (MMS) lifted off from Cape Canaveral, the UNH scientists, engineers, machinists and students who had been part of the 10-year project proudly watched their research and work become reality.
