2.  Hi, my name is Dasha. I live in a wonderful town in the center of Russia. It is called Oryol. My town is famous for its literary traditions and it is really beautiful. But unfortunately, we have some eco-problems.

3. People of my town are worried about water pollution.

4. A lot of the litter is thrown away in the river.

5. Factories and plants pollute the air and it can cause climate change.

6. Air pollution creates global problems (among which are global warming and ozone depletion) that require international cooperation to find solution.

7. There are many cars in the streets of my town and it increases the air pollution, too.

8.  The countryside is spoilt because people leave litter, glass bottles and plastic bags in the forest. All these things hurt the animals and damage the environmental.

9.  Grown-ups and children try to cope with these problems. Environmental groups clear rubbish in the streets, parks and other public places and send it to our local recycling centers. They plant trees and flowers instead of playing computer games and watching TV.

11.  Some people walk to the work or to school instead of using the cars. My classmates and I also take part in the work in the environmental groups. We want to make our school an eco- school. We take care of the environmental. I think everyone must do something to protect nature.
