6. Your task Your boat has just sunk. There is only one place left on the life raft and your task (in your pair) is to write a persuasive speech to fight for your place. To be successful: You must use AFOREST Change your words so that you are persuasive Write in paragraphs Remember who you are writing it for-YOUR CLASS.

7. IN PAIRS, WRITE A PERSUASIVE SPEECH. The speech must include all the techniques and last for 1 minute. The class will then vote whether you will be allowed on the life raft and be saved from the watery ocean. You will work with your elbow partner and have 15 minutes to write the speech.
