2. About Us The sport of baseball is enjoying an increasingly high profile. With approximately 400 families involved in the Tea Tree Gully area, it is currently one of the largest participation summer sports within our community. The Golden Grove Dodgers Baseball Club was formed in 1990 by a group of dedicated individuals who had the vision to realise the potential of baseball growth within the area. In 1999 the amalgamation of Golden Grove Dodgers Baseball Club and the Central Districts Baseball Club, (another club rich in history and excellence), formed the now present Golden Grove Central Districts Baseball Club Inc. We are a focussed, community driven sporting club competing in the South Australian Baseball League. This contributes to a sense of community, personal physical health, self-esteem and playing as a valued member of a team. We actively encourage all people (male or female) to join our club and to learn about baseball. In addition our youngest playing members are just 4 years of age while our oldest is 71.
