5. In a big castle lives a giant. He is strong and tall. He has a lovely garden. Children like the garden very much. But the giant does not like children. He does not want them to play in his garden. One day, the giant is very angry because he find some children playing in his garden. He drives the children away and builds a wall around his garden. The children cannot play in it any more. 6. From then on, Miss Spring does not come to the giant’s garden. Miss Autumn and Miss Summer do not come either. It is always winter in the giant’s garden. The giant feels sad and lonely. One morning, some children come into the garden through a hole. They bring Miss Spring there. Winter goes away. The garden is green and lively again. The giant is very happy to see flowers and birds in his garden. He knocks down the wall and says to the children, “Welcome to play in my garden any time”. Read and learn

I must build a tall wall around the garden. (build the wall) Child 1: The garden now must be very beautiful, but we can’t see. Child 2: If we can play in the garden, we’ll be happy. Miss Autumn: Spring is coming. Here and there outside the garden, flowers are blooming. Miss Summer: Here, the giant’s garden is still in winter. Miss Spring: I don’t like the giant. He’s not kind to children. Giant: It’s too cold in my garden. Where’s Miss Spring? Read and act Step 3: Practise in your group.

16. Act III Giant: Really beautiful! Hooray! Miss Spring is here! Child 1 & Child 2: (see the giant and feel sorry) We’re so sorry. We’ll go outside right now. Giant: Never mind! Never mind! Children! Welcome to my garden! It’s our garden. Child 1: Really? Really? Yeah! Giant: Let’s knock down the wall. OK? Child 1 & Child 2: OK!
