1 FOOD IN FRANCE The every day meals : For breakfast, people eat some bread with marmelade and butter or cereals or at the week-end we often eat croissants. But, the breakfast in France is not as big as in England. And we drink coffee or tea or milk or hot chocolate with sometimes fruit juice. For lunch, we have a big meal. It is our main meal. With an entree and a middle course, cheese and a dessert. At 5 when we come back from school, we have a snack. For example we eat : bread with Nutella, cookies, yogurts, fruits, brioche or whatever. For diner, we have a light meal soup or a salad.

2 Typical meals in France : On 6 th of January we have a day called Epiphanie. On this day we eat a king cake with frangipani On 2 nd of February we have a day called Chandeleur. On this day, we make crepes and we eat them with sugar, nutella, and marmelade. In April we have a day called « Pâques »(Easter) when we eat a lot of chocolate and a lamb called « l'agneau Pascal »

3 RECEPIES Quiche Ingredients : Puff pastry 3 eggs 30 cl of fresh cream 25 cl of milk 300 gr of thinly sliced bacon 150 gr grated cheese Salt and pepper Pre-heat your oven at 250°C for 10 minutes Put the puff pastry in a baking dish and prickle it. Cook the thinly sliced bacon In a salad bowl, put the milk, the fresh cream, the eggs and the grated cheese. And beat it. Put salt and pepper as much as you want Put your mix in the baking dish Put the « quiche » in the oven and leave it for 30 minutes.

4 RECEPIES Pain perdu Ingrédients for Pain perdu : 1/2 litre of milk 2 eggs 50 g of sugar 100 g of butter 6 slices of bread Whip the milk with the eggs and the sugar Dip the pieces of bread in the mixture And cook the pieces of bread in a frying pan with butter. By Agathe and Camille
