3 + IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS & HEALTH CARE Each year, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) publishes immunization schedules for persons age birth through 18 years. These schedules summarize recommendations for routine vaccines for children age 18 years and younger. Each year, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) approves immunization schedules recommended for persons living in the United States. The adult immunization schedule provides a summary of ACIP recommendations on the use of licensed vaccines routinely recommended for adults aged 19 years or older.

4 + Healthcare in UK (England) The National Health Service (NHS) The NHS is a free service to all residents of the UK, including members of the armed forces who are working abroad. All working adults must pay prescription charges of £6.85 for any medicine prescribed by a doctor. Children under 16 or 18 if they are in full time education, the over 60's, pregnant women, patients with certain medical conditions, low income earners or those receiving state benefits are exempt from any prescription charges. Dentistry and optical are free and limited through the NHS system except private situations.

5 + RELIGION IN ENGLAND Religion in England has traditionally been dominated by Protestant Christianity. Although this religion is still the official faith of the country Other accepted religions in England largely because of immigration are Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism and Buddhism

6 + ENGLAND WEATHER/CLIMATE The weather in England is temperate, with warm wet summers and cool wet winters. Weather varies from day to day and throughout the country as a whole. In general, the west coast and mountainous areas receive the most rain. England's weather pattern is pretty consistent with the United States.

7 + EDUCATION STRUCTURE The education system in the UK is divided into four main parts, primary education, secondary education, further education and higher education. Education is free for all children from 5 to 18 for the exception of about 6 percent private schooling.

8 + TRANSPORTATION IN ENGLAND GETTING AROUND LONDON Public transportation is, without question, the most common way to navigate and get around England. The public transportation system in England is very efficient and adheres to strict schedules. Students can expect to use public transport, it is simply a part of everyday. More than 3 million people travel on the tube everyday.

9 + GREETING ETIQUETTE IN ENGLAND Much like the US the most common way of greeting is the handshake. If it’s a close friend or relative maybe even a kiss. People generally just address one another with a hello or hi. Public restrooms are unisex and gender designated.

10 + GOVERNMENT Supposedly legally England has freedom of speak but is rapidly changing while people are being held accountable for what they express. 122 and 999 is emergency services while 101 is non emergency for police and the army is tasked with defending he country. The England form of Government is a constitutional monarchy, which combines a monarch head of state with a parliamentary system. (not necessarily a democracy)
