2 Course Description: Fundamental concepts, theories, scope and role of Information systems management.

3 Course Objectives To develop students’ knowledge and understanding on the basic management information in an organization to support management in planning and decision-making.

8 Classroom Rules: 1. Coverage of Midterm and Final Examinations Midterm examinations will cover the topics and lectures from the start of the classes until the last lecture prior to the scheduled midterm examination. The final examination will cover the topics from the beginning up to the end of the lecture sessions.

9 2. Quizzes Quizzes will be given after the lecture for evaluation and follow-up purposes. Students are encouraged to study their lectures regularly to cope up with the quizzes to be given.

10 3. Case Study analysis Case studies will be provided to the student for their analysis. Format or guide in analyzing the case study will be provided to the students.

11 4. Attendance and Class participation Significant time is allotted for discussion, active learning, and student presentation of case analysis. Therefore each student is encouraged to attend classes regularly to maximize the benefits of learning in this course.
