Centralized Scheduling and R25 Basics Michele Eicher Whiteside, CollegeNET Clifton Johnson, Elon University

Round Table What is centralized scheduling? What is a decentralized campus? One approach that Elon University took to centralize request process for student events Set agenda for session discussion—specific questions? Hot Topics? Best practices?

Log In information determined by Active Directory

Multiple dates and times need to be explained in the additional information box. This information is needed for your advisor and Campus Center Operations to approve. The more information the better. This information appears on the WebViewer and provides information about the event.

It is important to request multiple spaces that can accommodate your needs. There might be pending events that have not been processed. All outdoor events must also have an additional space requested for the rain location. Requestors are responsible for contacting each resource provider directly about their event needs. Resources and/or services will be confirmed by the provider. Student Request Form continued

Click “Submit Request For Approval” to send your request to your advisor for approval. The student requestor will receive an email that reflects the information submitted. Event will not be sent to R25 until after both the Organization Advisor and the Director of Campus Center Operation has approved the request. Please include any other information that you need to include about processing your event. (e.g. additional dates and times needed or special requests) Advisor information will be automatically generated. Student Request Form continued
