4. Miguel likes to read a lot of books. Sally doesnt read much. She has other things to do. ¿Lee mucho Miguel? Si, Miguel lee mucho. ¿ Lee mucho Sally? No, Sally no lee mucho.

6. The rules! When forming a question, the conjugated verb comes before the pronoun –Canta Juan? When forming an answer the pronoun precedes the conjugated verb. –Si, Juan canta. If it is a negative answer. The pronoun still precedes the verb but a no is placed in between them –No, Juan no canta.

7. Just a side note. In English we say do or does when asking a question and even include it sometimes in the answer –Does this thing work? –Yes, it does work In Spanish, the idea of do or does is included by correctly placing the pronoun and conjugated verb. –Funciona esta cosa? –Si, esa cosa funciona.

8. Practice Does he work here? –¿ Trabaja el aquí? No. He doesnt work here. –No, el no trabaja aqui.

9. Practice Do we need help? –¿ Necesitamos ayuda? Yes. We need help –Si, nosotros necesitamos ayuda.

10. Actividad You are about to interview your partner and ask them certain questions about what they do in their free time and what they like to do. Make sure if you are the interviewer that you form the questions correctly. If you are being interviewed make sure you respond with the correct word order.
