11 ► Khan Academy is designed to engage students in 30 minutes of productive practice on a daily basis. ► All questions in the Khan platform meet SAT test specifications. ► Khan question format and design mirrors the design/format of the online SAT ► Students can link their PSAT/NMSQT results or answer Khan Academy quizzes to create their personal practice plan. ► Practice is focused on priority areas. ► Each question will provide answer explanations, step-by-step solution, and hints. Personalized Practice for Students Khan Academy 11

12 Score Choice TM enables students to: ► Choose which scores to send to colleges by test administration. ► Send only the scores they want to send to colleges. * Four free reports are included with SAT ® registration. Students can use their free reports up to 9 days after their test date. Sending Scores * Students will need to comply with an institution’s stated score-use practice. 12

13 ► 100% of the registration fees for a single test date (during regular or late registration). ► 4 additional score reports (worth a total of $45) sent to the colleges of their choice at any time for free (regardless of how many fee waivers are used). ► Up to 4 requests to waive college application fees. ► Free access to the Question-and-Answer Service (April administration) or the Student Answer Service (March administration). ► Students who used an SAT fee waiver while applying to college for the first time may also receive a CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE fee waiver. 16 ► Online testing is only available for the April 5, 2017 administration. ► A district who chooses online must ► Administer the online SAT to all students in the district ► Complete testing in one day unless a student has been approved for accommodations that extend testing time. ► Confirm technical requirements, see collegeboard.org/Ohio ► Requires a client application and proctor cache ► Check with your technical coordinators who received additional information from ODE. ► Ipads are not supported in 2016-17 testing year 16 Considerations for Online Testing

17 ► Accommodations are submitted through an online system. ► Students who have previously been approved for College Board accommodations do not need to be resubmit. Their accommodation will apply to SAT ®. ► We support two types of accommodations: ► Those that result in college reportable scores for both students with disabilities and English Language Learners. ► Those that result in scores for students, districts, and the state but that cannot be used for college admissions. ► More detailed information will be available from ODE and College Board in the near future.
