24 How to find the GAD  Website is at http://apps.who.int/globalatlas/default.asp  Select Global Alcohol Database from the menu on the right  Use the pull-down menus to select the category, topic and subtopics  Choose the indicator of interest  Select the country or WHO region or all countries  Select the year(s) of interest

25 Note:  Both formats can be downloaded easily to EXCEL files. Some data can be mapped.  The data are available in numeric and text formats.  For numeric data, data source files have been provided.  Data sources are contained within the text files.  Some topics/sub-topics have “about files” with information about a specific indicator or topic.
