1 PDR 2015 A Guide for Managers for Academic Staff 1. Plan 2. Progress 3. Review

2 Click on the PDR & Recruitment login link

3 Login using your OneID and password.

4 Click on ‘Open’ in the ‘Team Performance Reviews’ box.

5 Click the ‘Performance plan’ and ‘Development plan’ tabs to navigate back and forth. Click the ‘Start’ tab for detailed instructions and examples. Write or review up to five objectives with relevant indicators and target dates as discussed with your staff member. Refer to page 9 for examples of objectives and indicators. 2. Click ‘Upload document’ if you wish to attach one. 4. Click ‘Next’ to go to the development plan. Meet with your staff member to discuss and agree on the plans. You and your staff member can both see and make changes to the plans. Ensure a standard health and safety objective is included (refer to page 10). Any changes you make will automatically save. 3. Click ‘Add objective’ to write additional objectives, indicators and target dates.

7 Hold the cursor over your name and click ‘Log out’ to exit the system. Click ‘Print report’ if you would like to print the plans. Your staff member needs to sign off the plans before he or she can move to the ‘Progress’ stage. When you’re ready, click ‘Sign off’.
