Magister Jan Hus (1371 Husinec – 6th July 1415 Konstanz) He was Roman Catholic priest, reformer and preacher. Hus was one of the first reformers of the church.

Since 1398, he studied at the University of Prague In 1409 - 1410 he was rector on this University He was a friend of Czech king Vaclav IV and his wife Sophia.

Since 1398, he was ordained on priest and since 1400 he began to preach in church St. Michael. Since 1402, he was a priest of Bethlehem chapel in Prague.

He was judged by council in Konstanz for his teaching He was convicted to death on a stake On 6th July 1415 he was killed in Konstanz After his death the Hussite movement begun
